Just an update to let everyone know sign on will be from 9am - 10.45am on Saturday 9 March on the sea front at the Burrum Sands Holiday Unit (90 Burrum St.)
Low tide is around 2pm and briefing will be at 11am.
Saturday night 9 March for anyone that would like to join us we will be at the Burrum Heads hotel. Tables will be booked for 6pm.
Tuesday 12 March dinner at the Bowls club/or pub tbc
Friday 15 March BBQ dinner, presentation and lucky draw prizes at the Burrum Sands.
Justin will again have the blackboard at the beach side of Burrum Sands Units with updates each day of the competition including tide times and briefing times.
Justin will have the notice of race on the website soon.

Tropical Cyclone 3-day outlook for The Coral Sea
Issued at 2:37pm EST on Tuesday the 5th of March 2013 and valid until end of
Friday
Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region:
Nil.
Potential Cyclones:
The monsoon trough extends across the northern Coral Sea to a low near 18.5S
150.5E, about 400km east-northeast of Townsville. The low is forecast to move
northeast for the next 2 to 3 days while intensifying and is likely to reach
tropical cyclone strength either late Thursday or on Friday. From Friday the
system is forecast to move southeast and remain well offshore over the Coral
Sea. This system is not expected to affect the Queensland coast during the
outlook period.
Likelihood of a tropical cyclone in the Eastern Region on:
Wednesday:Low
Thursday: High
Friday: High
NOTE: The likelihood is an estimate of the chance of each system being a
tropical cyclone in the Region for each day.
Very low: less than 5% Low: 5% - 20%,
Moderate: 20% - 50% High: Over 50%
The area of coverage for this outlook is the Coral Sea and northern Tasman Sea
west of 160E.

thought this a cool image. you can clearly see the Soueasterly feeder bands as well as the Norwesterly feeder bands of thunderstorms.
Just an update in regard to the social side of things. kellie i gave you the wrong info - Wednesday is the roast night at the pub. So maybe we need to lock in Wednesday at the pub
no worries anne, thanks for the heads up. the hotel has a booking for the saturday night event opening party.
as with past events we can adjust as needs be to get the best outcome. besides, i like roast......
