Burrum Windfest, what to wear

After Oswalds visit to Burrum alot of sand has been moved from the bank leaving new areas of exposed rock and shell on the bank i strongly recommend wearing booties particularly if you are one of the sailors who likes to walk your speed board out to the fast bit.
No point cutting your feet up and ruining your Windfest.

probably need a helmet too,with the color of the water not going to be easy to see the sand banks.do you have to wear a buoyancy vest?

Yes Graham you definitely need to wear a buoyancy vest, compulsory for all competitors.

If you have a helmet we strongly recommend you wear that too as well as the boots as Darryl suggested to protect your feet.

Anybody got a spare bouancy vest? or one for sale...I have a lifejacket but would be to cumbersome!

Peter Nitchke usually has a couple of spare buoyancy vests, though we prefer if you can bring your own to avoid disappointment.

Reminder: Only 4 hours left to register early and save!
