Can anyone tell me why when I go to overlay (in KA72) and then click on "this link" and save the image, it places 2 tracks (an old one of mine as well as the current one) in the saved image?

I uploaded the file to KA72 on 13th Oct at 18:42 & when I go to overlay, it is all OK.
Not sure why there is a difference on the saved image.

You've probably got the old track in your places in Google Earth.

When you open a kml file in google earth, when you later on close Google Earth it will ask you if you want to save changes to Your Places (something like that). You've saved your previous track as part of your places in GE.

This is just Google Earth opening the old file along with the new one.

Dylan.

Thanks Dylan

When I went back and saw the 2 tracks in the image, on the left hand (in places) I unticked the box for the old file and it took it out.
