Great video, you guys really showed commitment driving through those conditions then sailing, it cannot have been warm!
well done again on the speeds.
Has anyone checked out the river mouth of the Little Henty? On this image it looks like a 3Km run, with access from Trial Harbour. Of course it may look completely different nowto when this photo was taken.
I've been in and had a look at Little Henty. It would be much more difficult to get gear in (long walk or drive onto beach and hope not to get bogged on the way). It needs more west in the wind than Henty, so would work less often. It also has many curved sandbars along the windward edge making a run more difficult. With a good flush, it may become much better that the pictures below show, but at the moment, Henty would be the better choice. The first photo is on the way to Little Henty (Trial Harbour) - a big wave venue!!
No, cos then the Poms will want the same thing as winter closes in on them. That could cost us the Boxing Day Test.
this is little henty from when we were there last time.(12 of September 2009) you could have your rail on the board on the sand if you were keen while sailing.
Where exactly is that. Tassie West Coast?
Tried Henty Tasmania in Google maps, but the result didn't make sense.
yes near strahan on the west cost,i would not bother with it on Google earth as its way out of date.
