Could someone enlighten me on the PBs and Ashes?

This month I scored 2 PBs, then another 1, then today another 3. 4 different ones in total.
2 of the original PBs ones were bested today, and the tags ("PB") disappeared from the previous session.

A conclusion : Anyone can have, at the best, 6 PBs at any time, and also in any month.

So a person can break his/her own records many times in any month, and only 6 can be counted for the Ashes (?).

And what happens if I break all six on the 1st of the next month?
The tags will all disappear from the previous month.

Yeah Obelix, you have 6 PB's so far this month as per your data.
The PB's show in latest session on GPSTC home page against Pinnaroos team, but then seem to disappear.
Will check with "The Scorer" to ensure all PB's are tracked & logged.

maybe Nebs knows more

Keep up the great sailing & PB's - I'll see if I can beat you on PB's this month as we are both in the Ashes comp for Oct. (None for me so far as no wind..yet)

This shows well that you don't have to be at the top end to contribute to the scores.

Bring it on

Thanks for clarifying this Wineman.
So every instance of a PB counts which is good.
I'm certain of a few more this month.

Do PB's still count if only 1 person sails that day?

PB'S

Pb's count if only one person sails on the day from the Teams in that series!

One Sailor can only get 6 Pb's in a series ( One Month ) One for each Division!

Pb's for the final results of each series are calculated on the Last day of the Month.

Pb's with the Value of (0) are not counted.( Ball Tampering )

eg;

Cockroahes

You're right -- only your current PB will display when looking at a session. If you beat that score later on then that PB will disappear.

Easy enough to change, but I thought this was the most sensible way of displaying things.

It fits the Ashes rule where only one per category is counted for the Ashes comp.

I , personally would like to see them stick on the session, but the PBs are visible by visiting my page on the GPS site, so it's not that important.

That's why I do the official count of all Pbs for the Month on the Last day of the Month for that series. ( of Teams in that Months Series )
I do the Official count of the 6 Division Scores, 7 days after the end of the Month. (Same as the GPSTC.)
