Ok, OK, my bad... maybe I should have been listening to what Hards was actually saying And apologies to Moira
It should have read ONE OF WA's top scoring women.
bloody hell, one little typo
Yeah, scoring Hardie isn't really something you would brag about is it!!!
For those of you interested there's a video of the actual presentation, a long and short version: http://video.perthwindsurfing.com/displayimage.php?album=21&pos=1
Got that from this link: www.westozwind.com.au/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=636
Thanks to Andrew for this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was peeved I couldn't make it along...bloody work
I did see some of the action from directly 4000ft above you. Zoomed and locked onto the hot snags on the bbq with the SAR Infra-Red camera on approach to Perth airport. Yummo
That was bloody fantastic guys!!!!!
Great to put names to faces and see that PD hasnt changed that much from the last time I sailed with him at the pit in 87'.
J and Nebs, big congrats and you should be bloody proud of yourselves for what you have achieved. I seriously dont think that anything has got more sailors back into windsurfing in 20 years. Lets hope we can all go ahead in leaps and bounds in 2008.
LG, lifes good!!!
Larko
You are spot on there mate - nothing has done more for the sport in Oz in the last decade or two!!
Good to see you are still going for it too mate - wasn't aware until I checked your profile - and was it that long ago!! 1987!!
Hope to do it agian in the near future mate - somewhere flat and v windy!!
Cheers
PD
Yeah PD, it WAS that long ago and mate, good to know you still remember!!!
That NP house that Reiner Luedecke got for us was cool, until you broke the dunny during that innocent afternoon of no wind and excessive alcohol intake. Even Mal had a contact high that day!!
isnt it great that these days we can be in contact so easily with like minded people who love windsurfing and going fast
Ive been watching what you sand gropers have been achieving and just wish that we could have somts and wind like you fella's have in WA.
Maybe we could catch up for a frosty and a sail at Al Green's speed week if you can make it, be ood to see you.
Cheers
Larko.
