working hard on the frequent flyer points.

No doubt Slowie will have a bunch after his US trip...so expect a visit on the next really positive forecast

Welll it was not as cold as it could of been, was WNW early on which seemed to push tide out earlier than expected. Wind eventually swung SW and it is was on with squalls and the wind not dropping below 30 for awhile. Chop at the end of the run and tail walks at the start due to the amassing dunes which now now also dominate the whole strip kept it interesting.

All was not lost though as the wind aligned to the perfect direction and the tide started to come in. The whole run was dead flat from start to finish and the wind held in, was cooked on the 5.8 but did not want to miss the best of the conditions with 44 peaks and 43 10s to be had.

Some good stacks by some as well

Cheers

Super good day! 42.7 PB 5 x 10 in fact! 44 peak with eight runs over 43. Will be posting Monday morning. Best conditions for me since May 16 '09 (excluding Big Sunday of course)!

Good work on the PB's Ado and Kato!

Heres some sketchy pics from my first run with the tide still going out. Was a bit of safety run, and was partly sheeted out most of the way but still peaked over 43. Wide angle lens makes it look way flatter, later in the session it had flatten off properley and you could sail most of the way back.

Still nothing like Big Sunday though..
