Had my first go on the Delta fins today.......underpowered with my 8m unfortunately the wind dropped as I was rigging up should have been on a 9.7m. Managed to get going in a few gusts though.
What I felt:
They seem a bit harder to get going I guess due to lack of lift.
Great sub planing performance no problem pointing.
No problems bouncing over chop when planing.
Did not feel any loss of grip when going up wind.
Much more comfortable to chop hop.
Easy to jibe.
Once planing felt very different due to the board sitting flatter on the water but very secure.
Need to sail them solidly powered up to get a real feel of them and their speed potential.
