A big thank you To Reg of Windsurfing Perth and Col of Helifotos for a fantastic day yesterday. Amazing to be sailing so close to an incredibly skillfully flown heli.

Here is a shot of the big man and the camera team in action.

It could not happen without the dedication of the ladies holding the speed gun, Anne Marie and Melissa and Julie and Kelly recording the speeds. They spent the day getting covered in sand for our fun. You are great!

For some reason the link to the facebook photo went all pixellated? Uploaded to SB instead www.facebook.com/pages/Windsurfing-Western-Australia/136631579752572

Big thanks to Reg for holding a great enjoyable event and thanks to the lovely ladies who took my speeds even though I was too slack to nominate. I had a great day sailing Saturday and mobs of fun that night, although there were few sore heads Sunday morning. I got to catch up with crew I met before plus mobs more this trip, sweet.

Also it was great to see the chopper chasing sailors, you guys are very lucky to have someone as keen and talented as Col to go to the trouble he does. And boy how good was that pilot.

Thanks guys for taking the time to say Gidday

What happened to the marathon on Sunday? We waited at Kangaroo Point but nobody showed up!

Awesome 3 days up there, another great event

Thanks to:

The Ladies for their 5 hours behind the radar gun tabulating the results.
Reg, for organizing
Col for the memories of the helicopter zooming around (bloody hell they get close)
All the people sailing, what a great bunch of people

and

The the rescue boys who came looking for me after I suffered from a bad case of oldmaneritis on the way back from Kanga point

Awesome weekend with Reg, Col and the speed ladies, Anne Marie, Melissa, Julie and Kelly.
Can't wait for Col's video and Pics.
Great crew, and a huge thanks to Steve who jump started my Paj after the battery died after setting the marathon off.
Hope JN is OK with the stingray bite on his foot.
