Hi all

I accidentally had my memory card on "lock" so didn't record my session. I downloaded the Navilink and got most of the session, except for the last 1/2 hour ( I hadn't cleared the memory before the session) So I thought I'd save the data logger, which I did successfully, but when I open the file with realspeed, it does its little calculation in the bottom left corner but then displays this:

Any suggestions? Do I need a different version of realspeed to read the SBP file?

Any help greatly appreciated

Nat

you should be able to go to data logger on the GT11 and "save to card".

This will create a SBP file on your card which you can read with the later version of realspeed

Which version of Realspeed are you using?

G'Day Nat sorry you're image is a bit too small for me to see what's happened. If you can crop it down to just the realspeed window, it may be better.

But yes the later versions of real speed do sbp files but earlier ones don't, so that could be the problem.

But if you're recoding track data and datalogger, there may not be much in the datalogger anyway. Not sure which takes precedence when both are active. I've got all my track stuff turned off, so that only datalogger stuff goes in the internal memory. That way it should hold at least the last 7.5 hrs.

If the track data takes precedence over data logger, you may not have anything at all in it!!!!

I've had to use the datalogger info just a couple of days ago, it works fine.

But Neb's are you able to use navilink????????

Being able to use navilink as Nat can, implies that track data is being saved to the internal memory. If so have you any idea how the internal memory is divided up between datalogger and trackdata?

Nat download the latest realspeed version 1.924.
1.922 and 1.923 had date probs when using data from the datalogger

Hi

Thanks for all the responses, I've been using realspeed 1.915 so that might be the problem, have just downloaded the latest version and am waiting for the registration code.

Hopefully it will work, even though I had the Navilink recording as well.

That's odd, my new versions always work fine with the old registration code, you shouldn't need to re-register.

Thanks Decrepit

never even thought about trying the old registration code - that worked fine.

And the file comes up as well now - all good.

Thanks again to everybody.

That's great Nat, looks like you can run both systems concurrently.
I'm still interested to know how each affects the other.
There must be reduced storage time somewhere along the line.

I suppose it's too hard to work out the hrs in both the downloaded navilink files and the datalogger files??????
Or even just the size of the sbp file would be an indication.
My sbp files are around 850kb.

The sbp file was 360kb, but I did clear it not long ago. So it was by no means full.

Thanks Nat, looks like it still holds a useful amount then.
That's good to know.
