The last picture has a really great effect of the sun reflecting off the choppy water. Great photos all around. I used to live in Warilla and then Primbee in the mid nineties. We used to get a few people sailing off Primbee, there was a gang of around seven from the south side who sailed there regularly in westerlies. It seems to be more popular now than then. Its a good sign.

No pictures of kites? do they not kite in the lake?

It must be an serious dose of man flu if those two green arrows didn't get you down to Peggies. Waves were too big for big gear.

Over a dozen cars in the carpark. There was at least one kiter out. It's a tricky launch between the trees apparently. Nice photos Jase. But you haven't taken one of me since LBG

When the wind dropped off at lunch time there was about 6 of them out, Once it picked up again they disappeared.

There was a similar effect at Canton Beach yesterday. We even had an out of control kite crash near us.

Nice shots

The water looks relatively smooth in some shots, are you guys sailing close to the shore line. Must be enjoyable to sail being in control compared to Botany Bay big wind chop and abit messy,

Kind regards
Walt

Just sorting through the video now, Got more then I thought I did. It'll take a few days to cut it together then I'll post it.

Thanks for the offer Leo, I'll defanately take you up on the offer as good pics are more of an accident then good photography for me at the moment.

Here's a quick clip of one of my runs, A bit under cooked on a 5.0 but still fun.

where about do you sail from

Billyboy, Most of us launch from Primbee as it has a natural windbreak provided by the trees. It's nice to rig up out of the cold wind and not have to worry about your gear blowing away. You can launch from the yacht club just across from Primbee but you get blasted by the wind.
