There's certainly not 20 active members though. It seems like only half of us post regularly.

Welcome Pete & Tim!!

I totally agree Michael. Whilst I was drinking my liver into oblivion on Saturday I find it hard to believe that at least 1 of the 19 other members didn't get out for a sail on Saturday and yet not one person posted anything on the challenge site. It could very well be true but I doubt it. Still, it is just a fun event and we needn't take it to heart if people don't always post. We'll just keep the medals and trophies to ourselves when we win it hey

I was out on saturday, but unfortunately my gt-11 decided not to recognise my card on the ONE occasion I got a decent speed. Believe me, I would loved to have posted that session!

I was out Sunday. Down at Sanctuary Point near Jervis. Did a 30kt peak in 3ft chop on the speed board. Very hairy...

That blows. You really took on the elements with your Hypersonic and 6.6 sail while others were using 5s and 4.5s.

Here is hoping for good wind this summer and plenty more sessions.

A couple of great windsurfers have joined the Pittwater Punters. It will be good to get a few strong teams in the GPS Challenge to represent NSW. Co-operation and competition will lead to improvement.

Very well put!

I'm looking forward to seeing NSW (my state of origin) start to climb up the rankings... Go the cockroaches!

was wondering where you were hiding mate, I was sitting at Sandringham on Sunday with a massive headache/hangover watching 40 knot rain squalls turning the water white with fury thinking 'why isn't David here"...

the gtc is supposed to give you more excuses to windsurf and make a few more mates as for the prizes and trophies etc. it's all rigged anyway

I always post my sessions but when I sail on the weekend I cant do it until Tuesday. Agree with the others about lots of team members never posting, maybe we should cull a few
Dont forget a couple have no access to a computer and will only post if they do something big.
I reckon Rex deserves a mention for driving the length and breadth of Sydney checking every location and his only reward was a KFC hangover fix

Hey Hards, if its all rigged why are you sand gropers bothering to do the draw publicly this weekend??
Or is it just to keep up appearances??

David, you should've got around to paradise beach and done speed runs in the shallows - you would have got 3 inch chop. It's a three minute drive from the boat ramp. Although it was a westerly, so it would have been a very square course.

THis is the strip in a 25 knot westerly with three inch chop:
