Pretty solid 20 knot East nor Easter up in the Bay.
A tad too much east in it for Samurai to line up properly and fire cross shore.

Anyone get out at Nobby's... wind direction and swell looked the goods ?

Longy reports ????

Wanda ????

Gong ????

Gerroa ????

Season predictions ????

Was windy in the Gong, fully lit on a 4.7. Waves were ok size wise but the swell direction was pretty Northerly which made it a touch cross on at my local...also makes it mega choppy down the line when the swell is running that direction for some reason. Still was an awesome session till the boom decided to attack my head, the sea was angry that day

I sailed Gerroa for a bit on the 4.5 and then Corrimal on a 5.0 on the way home. I was launching at Corrimal when CJW got eaten by a wave and split his face open.

Corrimal was pretty good.

Here's the Forrest clowning around.. Yesterday at Gerroa.

I got out late at gerroa, hit the water about 6pm and sailed till it was dark. It was gusty and choppy but still fun, as the sun dipped behind the hill and the wind dropped it was quite good with nice glassy waves. Over powered 5.8 to begin with but it soon settled and it was super sweet.

Nice move Forrest, what's it called?

I'm hoping for an early southerly change tomorrow and I'll be heading for Callala bay for a bump and jump session.

Season??? I'm going to buy a 4.5 just in case

wanda was good with some meaty 1/2 mast dumpers. shame the tide was super low (0.1 in the arvo) as the wind was 15-20 knots.

season? of the NE's s far I think 'gong area has been the pick for wind strength at least. gerroa is of course a NE special although not always consistent.

hoping to sail 10 x 20 knots NE's in the waves by the end of summer. about 3 so far. sailed 1. I'll count southerlies as a bonus!
