My first attempt after buying a Gopro.

No editing, no music.

Not a particularly notable session but after a month off the water it was pretty sweet.

The wide field of view makes it look much flatter and less windy than it actually was.

I was there from about 3-4pm, pretty much perfectly powered on a 4.7m and 86L board (body weight + 0).

Can't wait for a big southerly!

Hope it is somewhat entertaining.

Hey,

Look's like you had fun.

Interesting hand placement on the boom, both hand's in front of the harness lines.

Anyway Well done and welcome to the sleepless night's editing gopro footage when you get around to it.

Kind regards
Walt

Hi Walt,

Yea, great fun. It's a good spot.

Editing video is something I'll have to learn.

My hand position is weird. Works for me, not sure why.

It was your videos that sold me on the GoPro, you should get a commission.

Cheers,
Muz

Looks fun. The smaller boards certainly seem the way to go to handle chop etc..

Yes, Bare Island in the background, it is a just around the corner from where I was sailing.

For those who enjoyed the video I put 2 more from the same session up on YouTube.

More of the same, less grunting, more crashes.

8 minutes before your first dunking, pretty good! nice quick water start after too, I take more time than that to work out what's happened

looked like you were on the plane pretty easy with a 4.7. I reckon that has to be one of the most consistent spots in Sydney in a westerly, which is usually gusty as hell.

Hi Muz,

welcome to the fun of the go pro, pretty cool/ frustrating learning to edit.

Was out a bit earlier, had a blast on a 3.7/ 70ltr for about an hour and a half before it settled down a bit.

Here's a some photos some friends sent me, (thanks Sara/Miguel)

it actually picked up again... I found the 4.7 was a bit big at times.

Hi Jaime,

By the look of the graph I'm guessing you were there around 12.

Right at that time I was fixing a flat tire on my van, a few choice expletives were being uttered.

Looks ballistic from the photos. That last one is a very nice chop hop.

Might see you tomorrow, looking good.
