I've got Sunday off and it's looking windless so I thought I may take my SUP down to lake Illawarra and seek out some of the snags and potential dangers that lurk in the shallows. If anyone's interested in helping out please come along, I'll provide beer for afternoon refreshments if that helps.

...I've posted this in the speed forum as well to get the word out.

OK Siny I'll send it Tomoz....

Here's something to make you all feel warm and cozy about sailing in lake Illawarra.....

A quote from the Mercury..

"The mother would have dropped the juvenile shark off at Windang Beach. "It probably hung around the beach for a few weeks and then followed a school of mullet or something into the lake."A lake brimming with fish indicated the shark could stay longer, March and early April is the perfect time of year for sharks ..."

It's an old vid but a Great white was spotted again in early May.........It makes sticking to the shallows way more appealing now.
