Montague Island weather station recorded a gust of 71 knots at 6.31am ( Sunday May 30, 2010 ) 131 Km/h.
It will be interesting to see if anyone sails on the south coast today.
Well, we're sat on the beach at Kurnell waiting for the cyclone to 'hit Sydney'. But there's not a breath of wind at the moment. Not quite living up to expectations so far..
yep sure was glassy when we left, and still not a breath of wind, Tommorow looks good though....

You guys in Newcastle always have wind. Must be the windiest place in NSW!
The Southly front hit Newcastle at 1pm today. A day late!
