I think the table only reflects speeds achieved in NSW.

Looking at the stats for October you'd have to say that its an interesting state we live in.

About half (12 of the top speeds) are on a formula board or board bigger than 120l

Leo, I think that big westerly day was the 16th - Ricks 36 knots is already there.

Dave, good point about the number of days on formula - where would we be without our beloved "doors" and big sails!

Cheers
James

Dirt Bikes!!!!

Dirt bikes are to Mountain Bikers, what Jet Skis are to Windsurfers.....

Sick' Em, I think you are doing the wrong sport

Nah,

riding offroad motorbikes is very similar to riding a windsurfer. It gives similar feelings and to ride both good requires similar skill levels.

I've only riden a jetski once. It was okay for about 5 minutes then got a bit boring. I handed it back to my mate after about 15 minutes with no real desire to ever ride a jet ski ever again.

Chris you'll be pleased to know I only ever ride at dedicated motorcross parks and never in the forests where I might accidentally ride over a grown up BMXer

And Tivo man, you can keep your door to yourself

Good to hear, but you might have trouble keeping up with the overgrown BMXers on a Down Hill track : P

Great video. I reckon that the mx bike didnt do too badly considering it was his first time down the track. Second time down he would have closed the 5 secs lead.
