Competitors,

As you know it is the Windsurf'nSnow & Neil Pryde/JP, Event 2 at the Central Coast this weekend. Contrary to previous emails and posts, please note that the event will take place at North Entrance - whatever the wind direction.

The order of play for the day is:

9:30 - 11:00 Sign on @ Karagi Park which can be found at the end of Hutton Road. Head over the bridge by The Entrance (if coming from the south), take the first right then second right. You should see flags and the tent from the bridge. We are not going to be at the SLSC.

11:00 SKIPPERS MEETING - everyone must attend this.

11:30 - Anticipated time for first heat.

18:30 (approximately) - BBQ and Prize Giving at Toowoon Bay Holiday Park - entrance is off Koongara Street.

Please be ready to compete at 11:30 as the Judges will not wait for you.

Thanks as always to our series sponsor - Severne and event sponsors Windsurf'nSnow and Neil Pryde/JP.

See you on the beach!

Yep, I took hundreds!

Here is a very small sample. All were taken during the "break" when it really blew.

DISCLAIMER: No masts, sails or boards were damaged during the taking of these photos....

So all the damage was before and after these photos!
My gaastra mast survived about 8 years untill that nasty closeout destroyed it.
Good news is that the sail survived.

It is typical that a comp gets put on hold for an hour only for the wind to almost immediately fill in!

Was tricky conditions but a fun comp/weekend - hopefully we'll make the event (with Toowoon Bay and the campsite for a social) a yearly location.

Good pics thanks Jase - look forward to seeing some more...

Just a FYI - the next comp in Gerroa is only 3 weekends away!

Cheers
