The forecast looks OK at the moment but this place has a history of going that little bit south (usually after you set up). Then you wish you were at La Perouse.
It is either one or the other La Pa can go off if it has too much north..

Def NW never a constant wind
frenchmans just doesn't do it like it use to in westerlies
La Pa was the place to sail in the late 80s
NE cranked in Yarra
westerly howled along the beach with good jumps
S SW & SE brought good wind and swell.
The factories in matraville ruins the NE
the port ruined the westerlies and the dredging ruined the swell in the southerlies
and the bullldogs supporters ruined it in the summer
I miss the (good old days) as my old boss calls them

Hmm, Bulldog supporters. Thats a politcally correct way to describe them. However with the new desal carpark the tide has turned. On a good seabreeze day windsurfers will outnumber those family gatherings. The new carpark has reduced tension and conflict a fair bit.

Everyone except young kids miss the good old days
