Gday everyone,

Looking forward to seeing lots of you up here this weekend. Should be a lot of fun.

As an update, here are the current standings for the series. Steve and Byron are tied in the lead for the open division, with Barry, Geoff or James all a chance for 2nd place in FE+. With the Autumn regatta being cancelled, there is no drop, so the results will all come down to this weekends regatta.

See you this weekend!
James

Thanks to everyone who came along today. It was a great day for catching up and enjoying a few sausages. Unfortunately there was absolutely no wind, and the forecast is for nothing tomorrow.

So the whole event has been postponed to the weekend of 10th-11th August.

See you then

Gday everyone,

Just a reminder that the rescheduled Winter Regatta is scheduled for this coming weekend - 10th/11th August. Wind permitting, we will race both Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks to the series sponsor, The Windsurfing Shed, we have a few brand new formula sails to give away to the overall series placegetters, together with a smaller prize for the regatta winners.

So blow the dust off your gear and head up to Marmong for a great weekend of racing. We will also be going out for an informal dinner together on Saturday night. More details on the day.

REGISTRATION 10:00 - 11:15 HRS Saturday
BRIEFING 11:15 HRS
RACING from 12:00 HRS
FORMAT Formula or slalom, depending on conditions.

Any chance of moving to Valentine, as wind will be off shore SW-WSW at Marmong?

Unfortunately the wind died before we could get a race in today. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come up, but ended up being a beautiful day to sit by the lake and talk instead!

With the forecast for tomorrow looking very light, we decided to cancel the event. This means that the series positions after the Summer regatta shown above become the final results.

Congratulations to the winners
Open
- 1st Steve Walsh (on a countback)
- 2nd Byron McIlveen
- 3rd Tibor Firenczy

FE+
- 1st Mick Saunders
- 2nd Geoff Smith
- 3rd James Farley (countback with Barry)

Next event in our calendar is the Movie Night this Thursday. More tickets sold today so should be a great night. See you there.
