HI All,
I'm new to this forum, but I have more or less a year reading every NSW message. I'm a newcomer (just 2 month in Sydney) and a windsurfer fan. Waiting to get a good gear and tips to start practicing.
A couple of weeks ago I went to Kyeemagh (near run way) because a friend of mine told me how good-spot is it. In fact, there were some windsurfers who looked very experienced.
Today I went @ 2pm and no one was sailing there.... neither rigging at the beach.
Someone know what happened today? I guess something with the wind direction.
Well here I am asking the experts....
All at the Runway on Foreshore Rd.

in a westerly for flat water you should be at kurnell, foreshore rd or la perouse ... kyeemagh is dead offshore
Here are some pictures I took of windsurfing at Kyeemagh on the NE seabreeze we had a couple of weeks ago.

I miss that place ! 8 days ago I fell off the balcony and cracked a rib, another 3 weeks to go, 4 weekends wasted...just when winter was over....winge,winge,winge....
sloshi,
I cracked a couple of ribs last year, it's a v frustrating injury and as you have have probably been told there's not much you can do. Thanks!
I managed to windsurf after about 2 weeks on flatwater (with the harness low down). It was uncomfortable and a few spills really hurt. A wetsuit helps a little.
Good luck
