Hey FNQers, I'm headed up to Cairns for a long weekend this weekend, will be out at Green Island on Saturday, lots of green arrows on the graphs, and looks like high tide after lunch, so I assume it will be ON!?? Any need to worry about jellyfish this time of the year?

I'll be with family, so will probably just sneak away for a quick hour blast, does anyone know what kind of rental gear they have and prices?

Thanks

Hey Swoosh, didnt see your msg.Your best bet is to PM Toody on the Island. He runs the hire gear. Good choice of Starboard and Severne stuff at very reasonable rates. Youve picked a cracker of a weekend mate, good tides and looks like the wind is here for a little while longer. Make the most of a very nice place to sail.

This might help you also - give you a bit of a guide around. Toody will sort you out for sure.
