Pro Windsurfer Australian Sean O'Brien AUS-120, and Julien Ventalon (a French national from Martinique) will contest the Around Green Island Marathon on Waterloo Bay this Saturday.

Sean has just flown back from a gruelling 8 months on the pro circuit, competed in PWA Slalom events in Korea, Aruba, Fuerteventura, Sylt and Turkey.

This will be Sean's first race on his home waters in 2 seasons.

That sounds great. But...

...also the bay will be graced by Trauma. Word has it that he has also entered.

There's talk of another Frenchie coming... Julien Savina.

He assures me his misses doesn't need a lift to the markets that day, so Julien can take the car :-)

Also looks like Chris Tingle from NSW is coming up to race... am picking him up from the airport tonight. If we make it out of the Bavarian Bar tonight alive, then we'll see you all tomorrow :-)

Going to be some hot competition!!

Yes, Yes, very gruelling having to drink yourself silly and sail with really bad hangovers for 8 months. Where do I sign up?

PS - good luck for everyone racing tomorrow (I gather?)
