I've been on the line to the NP (that's North Pole, not Neil Pryde), and Saint Nick is not too happy with some of the whinging he's seen on the forum about not being able to sail on the 25th. He told me, "what's the point of laying on wind for these bozos if they're all going to stay home, get smashed and play on the PS3 with the kids? I might give it a miss next year if this sort of thing keeps up."
Anyway, it's a dead-set cert that Mr Claus want everyone to have a bonzer time on the water so refuse that third beer with lunch, hit the water, and make the man in the big red suit proud.
your on your own Ikw, i mentioned that the bay may have a strong wind warning out tomorrow and the response wasn't favourable at all.
out of curiosity could someone be charged with wui after having that 3rd beer
hope you get plenty of wind and swell
I'm with you IKW. I will fire up the weber early and get the lunch on then get out sailing, wind willing (forecast looks good). Probably lucky as the missus likes me to sail, and no kids to entertain helps. So get back on to NP and tell him to turn it on after he delivers his load
PS, At Lake Cootharaba so a bit far away from you down there
Definitely need to go for a sail. Your right mate Santa would NOT be happy! (unxmasy even?) Shearwater is High tide and 15-20. Hopefully get a couple of hours in before we head out to my brothers for the big gig this Arvo
Went out today to Victoria Point. Had a ball!!!!... until I decided to wipeout snapping my severne mast :/
between roasting the turkey and double smoking the ham got in a solid 1hr high wind/speed blast at Noojar road again..seriously windy and fast, on ya Santa!
