is it a bad sign if the storm passes the marburg sataion and then it stops working. 
There is not much rain at the moment here at Camp Hill. Man it better hurry up and go away cause i want to go sailing tomorrow. An all day sail looks very good for tomorrow

Yeah Sunday looks really good but i'll be down the coast with my party hat on. No more School forever.
Also taking down some windsurfing equipment so it will make the party even better.

My flat was flooded at 1:30am. Took me and my girlfriend 3hrs. to get rid of the water :( I'm sooo tired today.

Sailed till the lightning got too close
I was there today from like 10 in the morning till like 4 ish and was planing the full time on the 8.0 and hypersonic. It was awesome my hands are like mega blisters right now. Must have just left before you got there vando.A few windsurfers came and went at like two but it really kicked at like 3.
And by the way what happened to the sandbank this arvo at high tide it was non existent.
It's coming this way... again. I just got in the garage tonight and boooom!!! a wall of wind water and lightning.
If this is my last post, I regret nothing.

Luke leave the ws gear at home. Mate and I both took our gear to schoolies and didn't even look at it for the week, it got in the way and you worry about it bein nicked.
Between the alcohol and chicks and parties and alcohol and... windsurfing can take a back seat for 1 week.
I was using iso400 last night in TV mode with it set to about 1/4 from memory (fast enough that I could hand hold the camera without IS).
Lots of my shots came out too dark, but when the sky was lit up well that speed ended up perfect. Any more exposure and I had shots that I considered over exposed...I really wanted the shots to show that it was actually night.
I took a few on bulb, for around 45 seconds, wide angle The sky is blue with stars, very pretty. Storm clouds, lit up, are blurred though. Would look awesome if storm not moving too fast. Perhaps 2 photos and some Photoshop... hmm.
Flash makes an interesting self portrait too with lightning in background. Flap arms while processing.
Hmm, seabreeze has added some noise, quite a bit actually.
I reckon, during peak of storm, you could cut back to 5 -10 second exposures. This storm just dropped off while I was shooting.
