I keep my stats from the start of spring to the end of winter.

My only sail since I came home from Maui was a couple of quick runs at Green Is.
Lots of work though, and a new board in the works as a result.
Roll on spring !!

Id show you a pic of what i looked like but i dont want to put you of your dinner. Lucky for me its all superficial my sight has returned and so has my eye lashes etc still got one hell of a face tan though. Serious note though your bud needs to stop using his fingers. I came so close to killing myself, i was lucky

Looking at your stats only two days you've sailed have been on the weekend so that limits things a bit... (and I really don't dig Wello as a spot)

I have organised part-time work only for the next six month tho, so spring should be tops with four-days off a week (gonna put my name on one of the car parks at queens)

^ yeah there's been 3 weekends over the 6 weeks. i didn't sail this sunday as i took the kids to the park and watch series 1 of gav and stacey it was 20 knots at wello for a while.

what is it you don't like about wello? i reckon in a W or NW is the better spot. i usually sail it on a high tide. when i first moved from the sunny coast to brisbane i sailed wello only because i had to. i wasn't a fan really. after a few years though i grew on me

I agree it's the best spot for a westerly and I know you all seem to have a great time there. Maybe it's just me but the following usually pulls me up:

-Has to be the right tide
-It's an hour in traffic from where I live
-Parking is horrendous
-It's crowded
-Sooner or later you going to get into the mud
-Each time I've been there I've dinged a fin
-The water is incredibly dirty
-Kiters and their strings are all over the place

In winter I tend to agree to family things because I'm going to be pretty hard to pin down the other nine months of the year.

i hear you... in summer those things are definitely an issue.

-Has to be the right tide
yeah i don't sail there on low tides. i go to the goldy or redy

-It's an hour in traffic from where I live
35-40 minutes for me too.
-Parking is horrendous
in winter the entire place is empty. except for last thursday where i struggled to ge a park due to all the windsurfers.
-It's crowded
only in summer.
-Sooner or later you going to get into the mud
there a lot more sand there now. the council did reno works and the sand is slowly being washed over all of the mud. same happened to vicki point. but that's why i only sail the western side.
-Each time I've been there I've dinged a fin
yep.
-The water is incredibly dirty
yep
-Kiters and their strings are all over the place
only in summer really. the kiters don't seem to sail there in winds over 25 knots. anything over that and there's not a kiter in sight.

during a NW or W wind it pumps there. seems to funnel into the bay.
