I have never tried Lota creek, anything to watch out for ?

yes the first three set of leads stay very close to the green mark, after that point up a fair bit , then reach down channel . probaly best to tack at far end otherwise you have to point high on the way out sometimes

slightly more impressive than my sail today...

although I successfully made my first gybe, ugly as anything still, shame the tide/sun went down or I'de still be out

Ive only been there once and i found the bottom but if you know what those red and green marker things mean you might go better than me .
I had a nice sail out there today too , running off the wind from manly to that anchored boat it was so flat .

Thats a massive sail simon , i always want to go way out past the islands like that but im always afraid of finding a sand bar or something .

You were right BC. Had a good sail after work Thurs on the 5m and wave board.

looked like it wasn't going to happen on the GC, but it kicked in nicely quite late at 3pm
