Tha 295 looks like a great option, not so big I can't store/transport it but bug enough that it can go up wind. Do you think it would be competitive as a one board solution for course and light wind slalom? And will you be able to use your existing race sail quiver with it??
Couldn't resist putting this up again. 378 L X 72 W X 41 Tail (approx) adjustable mast track.
Sail is 8m and has 2 cams.
Problem with using modern race sails is in light winds you can't get the cams to pop and too loose leach.
I would love to try one of the more modern boards though.
Can't wait to see what the new 377 is like compared to my 380 Phantom that i have at the moment, the tail looks weird though
Bat Wing .....what a load off BULL****. There goes Starboard making boards again just for the sake of making boards, how many is that now? They think we are idots.....Oh lets make anything, will we test it? ...nah the stupid public will buy anything we make.
The objective of building a "feeder" class at a reasonable price point is pure genius! Exactly what this sport has needed for the last 10 years. Hope it gets up, would be good fun doing some Island Marathons around the bay with the crew.
