Straight out of the container yesterday and first rig/sail today. It rigged beatifully out of the bag ,just had to tighten a few battens.
The luff sleeve is wider than last year and the sleeve material is a high tech lightweight dimension/polyant laminate.
It has a bit more shape down low and is more draft forward but has a fine entry for upwind. With Silver Xply in the head and foot it is really striking.
It was not really 9.8 weather ( should have had the 10.7 up), about 15 knots with the occasional higher gust but it felt great, very fast. It,s going to be very competitive.
Hey Mr Love,
The sail has alot of shape, looks good.
I am contemplating to purchase the Koyote09.
So am wondering if you have any real photos of this sail rigged and standing.
Your help would be appreciated. Either post on forum or Walter@visualcarpentry.com.au
Thanks
Hi Martin,
Are you coming up to the Oceanics/Nationals in January to show them off? 6 - 9 Jan Sydney
Chris
Not sure Chris, I have a big project on at work that needs to be finished early Feb. If not we will get somebody else on a set for sure.
