the more a look at the boards there not that bad,but do you think some of these graphics are going back to some of there earlier years...such as the logo style on the wave boards and the jp wave graphic i saw on the bottom too.
The far left Is a Tabou rip off can't see much originality there, and I don't usually comment about the opposition gear!
Which model/year tabou is it ripping off? I originally thought it looked like a tabou but I looked on the tabou website for the last 3 years and I couldn't see anything that looked like it.
^ i agree with gybesports.
my first thought was they've copied all of the other manufacturers.
the far right could be a mistral joker,
far left is tabou like
i can't put my finger on the slalom graphic. but i've seen it before
2nd from the right is fanatic like also.
Run out of ideas for your new race boards, just cut-paste-tweak your old grahics and hope everybody has fond memories of the old model.
@Gybesports
Ahh, I didn't look past the boards on the main page. Yep, definitely similarities.
You'd think they'd pick a nicer looking design to copy... then again pretty much every manufacturer is going ugly in 2011.
I like the new ones, I can remember really wanting an F2 wave slalom from years ago that had crazy aztec space invader graphics, some of the Sputnik graphics were pretty weird though.
If you don't like the graphics post some better ones.
Seems to work for other manufacturers.
F2 are good 2
Slalom boards look like weapons, they look really nice.
Honestly I think the freestyle/wave boards look pretty gross. The whole Tabou flouro mind**** graphics remind me of a 80's discotech hangover. The surfing industry got over its little "heaps of **** graphics = a good graphic" stage about a year ago. They've cut it down, simple = cool = more recognisable label anyway eg JP. Though I think JP overdid it a little it seems every board looks the same. That said, whilst the illusion graphic on the Tabou's is intense it is simple and easily recognisable. Works for them.
Understatement FTW
Looking forward to seeing one of those raceboards
