given how well they rated in 2011 I wouldn't be surprised of they only updated the paint job. I am actually guessing these might even be 2011 boards with a 2012 paint job.

Thanks for sharing.

looking at the photo it does seem the concaves have been reduced quite a bit.

You can't honestly tell me you can make anything out in that photo! The concaves also vary a lot between sizes.

I'm with Stehs, I doubt they changed it radically...best board i've ever owned

well i did end it with maybe.

i noticed the concaves on your model quad in photos. but the 2nd last photo i don't notice the concaves at all. so i'm guessing. time will tell. could just be the angle.

but to me the bottom shape looks different. fins look like they are set further back also.

i found some other photos so i take that back about the fins.

Nice looking thing. Still...2012 in March 2011?
What's next? Meyer stores preparing Christmas decorations?

Pre-production during which they finalise product line, produce marketing materials (ie. photography, videos, brochures), get new shapes into production line etc. etc. takes about 6 months. Given they have the first boards / sails of the production line ready for the distributors meeting around August most manufacturers would already know what's coming in 2012 around January 2011.

BTW, christmas chocolate production usually starts around April for a September delivery. Easter chocolate production starts around September.
