Rigged my SpeedFreak 6,5 for the first time looks good and very light unfortunately not enough wind to take it for a spin. Maybe tomorrow.

Hi legless
How does it compare to the speed demon?
It seems to be a similar shape, but I'm interested in how the material change affects weight, and feel.
Cheers
Matt

It is based on the Speed Demon thus the very similar shape. It feels lighter the upper panels is the same material as used in the SuperFreak Ultra Light. My guess it will have a lighter feel on the water than the speed demon and like the Ultra Light handle gust better and smoother than the the Speed Demon and as the Speed demon is a fantastic and very comfortable sail to sail I think the SpeedFreak will be an improvement on the Speed Freak. Like the GP2 it dose not have a tack strap thus for best rigging I think you will need to adjust the extension so the require down haul end up being fully down hauled.

Yes

Have you already sailed with them ? I was told that they're "okay" but damage the grip quite fast.

Yes I have been using them they feel different but good to use I don't think they damage the grip anymore than other harnesslines.

It rigs with a 430 mast and yes the Ultra 430 would be the best mast for it. It would then be a very very light rig. In this case I have not rigged it using an Ultra.
