Formula, There will be a brand new OZ webshop online really soon ( in fact I thought it was happening last night) It will have all the details on how you can order the sails and all the contact details if you wish to chat to somebody prior to placing an order and any local delears .

2012 Koncept

Jesper is the best person to explain the technical details of the changes that have been made.
In essence the sail has been given a more compact outline, shorter in the luff and longer in the boom. Refinements to the shaping and twist have occured as well.
Why?
The Koncept has it,s origins as a speed sail, AMAC originally designed if for Speed sailing at Sandy Point. As a consequence it is extremely fast deep downwind but the Team felt that its "all round" capabilities could be improved, mainly it,s upwind performance. The changes that have been made are squarely aimed at acheiving this.
So, no the previous Koncepts are not inferior as is evident by the results the sail has acheived. They do what they were designed to do more than admirably. For 2012 it was a case of changing the design parmeters for the sail slightly.
I am sure jesper would be happy to go into the "knitty gritty,s" if you wish.

Aah! I use a 6.6m concept and generally very happy with it but struggle a bit upwind. I thought it was mainly me but maybe its the sail? Use it in 10- 20kts and mainly trying it get upwind [}:)]I'll have to go off the wind and see what its like!

On the new Koncepts I like the velcro on the tack fairing but why is it on the opposite side to the cam zips?

Briefly tried out Jesper's 2012 7.1 Race sail the other day. I was on my 2011 Blade 7.8 and I felt the 7.1 had nearly the same amount of bottom end pull as the 7.8
Underway it was balanced and easy to use and rotation was good. The sail seemed to slice through the lulls and just hang in and keep motoring along. Definately one to consider.
The 2013 proto F2 board was prety good as well.
Thanks Jesper!
