The TR8s are now available, tested today for the bigger sizes:

- fuller below the boom
- flatter in the mid-section
- more locked in
- super clean profile
- trademark soft feeling

The Mauisails team has delivered a very nice toy...

Noice Remi. Out of interest do you tighten your tack strap around your boge / tendon?

Very nice Remi, that 12m seems to have a bit of red in it.
Is that a JET SKI in the for ground ???

That is correct, the tack strap goes around the base with a lot of tension to lock that profile down low.

As fast as a jet ski in the foreground with a fast/powerful 'red' engine in the background

Saw steves new ones today - the photos don't do that Blue, White and Grey colour scheme justice. The 7.6 in the blue colour scheme has to be the nicest looking sail I have ever seen!

The TR8's are definitely a step up this year. So far I have rigged and tested the formula 11m and 12m in winds from 6 to 22 knots.

Biggest thing I noticed was how locked in they feel. MS have managed to keep the soft feel they are known for, and also locked the draft in nicely. The 11m in 22knts still felt locked in and stable. Not only are they very fast, but now very stable as well :)

Pumping onto the plane in the light winds also felt easier with a bit more bottom end grunt to last years 7's.

Looking forward to further tuning and testing of the slalom sizes and hitting the race course.

Call Remi @ the Windsurfing Shed for info on availability.

Gossip, Gossip, Gossip, It all comes out in the "Wash" next year, seems as if there is going to be plenty of "Moving" and "Shaking" between brands next year!!!!

Steve, thats great news! I always felt that the only thing formula sizes lacked, was stability. Acceleration and speed was always very good. Glad to hear its finally combined, can't wait to get my hands on them!

As for sponsor changes - it seems like JP/NP strategy to have riders using only combo of these brands didn't work out. It is going to be one interesting racing season in 2012!
