The new mistral twin fin 84 is here now. It looks awesome. I will post some pics as soon as possible.
Can't wait to try it as the marke neilson shapes are in big favour at the moment.
Demo rides can be organised by contacting Paul at the shop.

I will have the mistral 84 twin and the starboard evil twin 80 out for demo in Perth friday afternoon from around 4.00pm if any one is wanting a go. I will probably be at scarbs or dutchies - just look for the 2ndwind van.
cheers

Thanks for that Paul.
I tried out the 84 mistral twin today at Scarborough and ......awesome little board. Probably the best production twin I have tried.
Got up on the plane fairly quickly in the current/rip at Scarbs.
Felt very twitchy when sailing along, goes through the chop great, goes upwind OK considering my weight and large sail I had against those fins,
Feels light and manouverable in the air in the jumps.
I pushed as hard as I could against the fins but they just would not spin out.
Really loose on the wave face to turn, responds well to the slightest toe or heel pressure.
And good top end speed as well for a wave board.
It's a fun board that feels alive under your feet, If I didn't make my own boards I'd but one for myself !
serious - oh my goodness gracious me, every time i look at the pics of the shape of the mistral it grows and grows on me - it really does looks the goods.... very tempting/infectious indeed...... r u doing any more demoing with her?? maybe this saturday am Paul I'd love to give it a but too.
Yeah Yeah Yeah very freakin funny boys !

the starboards are the I-sonics. All the 2008 boards have orange painted cutouts.

the mistrals went over a treat. very well liked by the guys that tried them. they held in well by all accounts and offered unlimited carving turns, so many that the guys were getting tired from the constant carving. As it is such a different shape, it was surprising how popular it was, because if you just look at it there is an element of scepticism until you try it.
cheers
Paul
I say keep the sceptics off em, let them stay sceptics, you don't miss what you don't know about.
They're just a cool fad
