Seanhogan, Starboard would probably say "minimum pad glue to minimise weight for maximum efficiency"
But seriously though pads coming off is not really a biggie. Ados F2 works well to glue pads back on. Delam on the other hand is a bit of a problem...
Yeah I've had some pads peel off on Isonics and Acids, but easily fixed. Quality of the boards over all I would say is great.
Yer i had pads starting to peel off on my 09 isonic 86, just used shoe glue to glue them back down, worked a treat
The dual density ones (lower density black EPA layer under a harder density white 6mm EPA) coupled with the upper layer being colour spliced to match board livery didn't last that long i.e. 09 iSonics. Solid one part pads are the way to go even if this detracts from deck graphics.
Have replaced my pads as previously posted www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/General/DIY-footpads/#983222
Got me some new toys the other week.
IS 117 and Speed 49.
Both boards feel great on the water.
First sail on the Speed 49 2sec peak 41.5
