How are you SA windsurfing crew?
Thought I would give you an update on our trip so far here on Maui. Wind has been lighter than usual for this time of year, due to a low pressure of the coast of Mexico, meaning the trades don't have their normal punch. So it's been 105 and 5.7 / 6.2 for me for the past week. Could also be that I ate too many pies?
Kym has been out at hookipa a few times already, making the most of some of the rare north summer swell.
This is Walter from Germany, he is 83! Still sails like a pro
Surf has been great, with a consistent south swell, we have been making the most of the lack of windier days and getting some cool early morning sups. Last week, south shore was pumping (see pics)
Looks like you are all getting some wind over the next few days, get on it!!!!
Kai Lenny in windsurfing mode, apparently after this sail he went for a kite then a downwinder for the rest of the afternoon, total action man (he also has a very nice truck)
Levi testing new boards, this one is the thruster, showing some fin to the camera man in the water under him, francky bertout, look him up
Smile or make a funny face to the camera
Aloha, see you all soon
I just cannot relate to board shorts and water activity at the moment - happy birthday to the gals as well Dave - when was the last time phoebo and kimmo had the pleasure of a winter birthday - 5-6years - lucky lucky &@"?tards.
