I'm new to this forum but I have been sailing at Semaphore and North Haven for a few months now.

Its happend again, I have only just had my 84L wave board repaired and I have smashed my 74 nose. I know it is down to technique so I figure if I repair it myself I will learn the lesson faster, also it is way to exensive to get a prof repair. This was done yesterday at Semaphore...

Can anyone advise on the easiest technique to repair this and any good links on repairs. I don't have a pump and haven't tackled a repair before so the easiest method would be the best.

Also if anyone knows of easy to use products and where to purchase them from?

Many Thanks
Nick

+1. Just checked out this site and it's a belter. How good are her repairs? I have had them (professionally) done in the past and you could tell something had happened, but this lady is on her game.

Thanks for the link, those repairs look very professional, much better than the last one I had done.

Hi Trousers

I use the West System epoxy for my repairs (I brought it from Rope and Marine in Port Adelaide for about $45). This product is a bit technical to use. You need a few tools: a vacuum pump and a heat source. The repairs are very good though.

Give it to Leighton. He is sick at repairs and isn't very pricey. It's not worth the hasstle unless you have everything and a good idea on what to do.

I'm going to try and give it a go but if I stuff it up I will definitely give it to Leighton. Thanks For the advice.
