Last night at Semaphore after you guys left the wind picked up to over 25 knots - couldn't hang on to the 5.0!!! Tonight also looks big...

The tide is great, temperature is ok... but there's a SE. If the SE isn't too strong, then it should be ok.

Ja

Wind prediction by BOM is 22knots Southerly for Outer Harbour, 3pm Wednesday... so no SE winds on the Northern Beaches let's hope...

22knot Southerly is fine with me!

If it's 22knots, I'll get to try out my new fin :)

If it is more SE go to Nth Haven, or the Chicken shop (west Lakes shore - mirani court)

Ok. Will do.

Never sailed at Chicken shop.. but that's because the chop looked too nasty when I first started sailing. However, this season, I am coping well, and keen to give it ago. Yeah. I've heard North Haven is good for gully winds (or SE's).

Last Saturday. OES XR115 + 6.8m Mauisails Global:

Managed to sneak out of work today. Went home, grabbed what I thought would work today, and headed to Sem's. That isn't going to happen again.

Hi Bondage,

How flat is north haven on a south easterly. Is that offshore?

Hi Carl,

Nth Haven in a south easterly is sideshore and will have waves, size dependant on swell and wind strength. It is flat in a northerly/NW as the breakwall stops any chop. Can have small swell on some days in winter.
