How many you reckon you'll get in the hatchback with all ya gear bondy - could be a tight squeeze - unfortunately I can't - I'm sure it would be one hell of an adventure - you need someone with a new trailer maybe

Russ, i can fit two boards, two masts, four sails and two booms in the old corolla. Room left to tie one other poor sod on the roof with their gear

That somebody with a new trailer is all sailed out from yesterday and now actually has to catch up on his real job.

Looks like it will be just me sailing with Pilchard at this stage. Fingers crossed the forecast comes true cause there are some great set ups down there so amping to sail somewhere new.

Would go if I was not exhausted from sailing the last couple of days. I am not sure if I would try and fit my gear into Bondy's car though...

What are you saying about my Corolla Geoff. Its a classic piece of motoring history

The maps are driving me nuts. South Central Forecast makes it sound like Middleton could be on but the interactive maps dont show it being windy enough.

At least it looks like a sure bet down further.

Envious Bondy. Like Geoff party exhausted but also have child minding responsibilities this weekend otherwise would have joined you - well maybe driven you rather than risk the corolla. Great to see some solo driving psycho attitude to get a sail.

Yeah, it definitely wasnt epic HAAK but I still had a heap of great wave rides and some jumps when it was gusting through. In hindsight i should have left my 4.7 rigged up and swapped between that and my 4.2 as conditions dictated. Just before Pilly took the photos I was nearly blown away out the back by the squall on my 4.2.

yeah fairly crap HAAK, i never get tired of seeing the flying mo flapping in the wind. my best chance of a big bear away was turned into a party wave you mongrel lol. still was fun.
i think theres something funny in the tap water up north, blokes go a bit hyperactive/ nutty out on our coastline, or could it be all that driving to get here. in any case their stoke is infectious, keep coming down guys
maybe an early seabreeze season could be a couple of months away fingers crossed for a good november grumpy. i want some steady wind
