The West Coast Wave Classic scheduled for January 2011 starts Friday 21st. This weekend coincides with Australia Day Wednesday the 26th. Start planning Mon and Tues off from work and you can have a five day weekend on the west coast. The weekend is Tunarama weekend and will provide plenty of daytime entertainment for those not sailing so please bring family and partners, for those who still are young at heart there is also allnight entertainment. Depending on numbers we are hoping to group all travellers together for camping just out of Lincoln in a paddock 500m off the coast viewing the town (on the highway between Lincoln and North Shields- taxi friendly). Sailing location will be decided each day around 10-11.am and will be day tripped. For all those without 4wd access we will provide, normally we put 4-5 people in a 4wd with trailer to travel up the coast.
Alternative options include awesome beach BBQ's, SUPs, 4WD tracks, swim with tuna 50% off, and eat fresh seafood until you burst. Sailing Comp/ Express session will be targeted at the beginning of the weekend for those only over for that time, weather depending of course. The spots sailed ARE suitable for all levels of windsurfing and therefore we encourage all sailing levels to participate! Please make an effort to come over and visit, whatever the weather provides you will not be disappointed. Start booking your expression of interest with Richard or myself

Hey Zac - have you happened to look at the forecast for this Sunday 28th?
In your famous words - it'll be "****in smokin"
sounds awsome. is a dark side convert allowed to play? I can dust off the trusty JP and sticker up a few holes in the 5.0
WCWC update
Ben Severne is coming over to demonstrate latest gear, sailing and party moves
light wind activities:
-SUP ing (some demo OES sups provided)
- swim with tuna (up to 50% off TBC) http://www.adventurebaycharters.com.au/tuna_tours.htm
- dive with sharks (not cheap but cool) www.calypsostarcharter.com.au
-swim with seals
- tunarama festivities- the fireworks display and aerobatics over boston bay saturday night is mega, also food stalls, tuna toss etc
- Sunday night OES sponsored drinks at Marina Hotel, Hotel providing nibbles etc
- if tuna are on may head down and get a few, maybe pull pots, see if boys on calypso star have any visitors (first come first serve basis- definately NOGO if you get seasick)
Due tunarama accommodation is pretty tight but Zak has organised paddock space near town for tents, trailers etc. As 26th is wednesday, make a 5 day weekend of it.
hopefully the world famous Fredo will get his big lense out (or even better his water housing) and grab a few shots.
I'll be sniffing around all week Maris - not going anywhere really.
Won't miss the OES sponsored drinks.
Carringtons perhaps???
So Adealiade crew who is heading over and how many can make it for the weekend through till the 26th - its a great opportunity to get amongst the West coast atmosphere with crew that know the place like the back of their hands - oportunties like this don't come along every day
be fantastic if we can get as many over as possible.
If there are crew who want to buddy up start getting some talk happening and get organised
Come on you know ya want to!!!
Don't forget to include your partners and familys for this trip. We've chosen this weekend so they have plenty to do while we hopfully get some wind and waves. Daily conditions, will dictate where and what is on each day.
While it is a wave sailing event, don't be put off if you are not into wave sailing , as there are plenty of area's for flat water blasting and SUPing for all skill levels.
So if you have any questions or need any more info feel free to contact either myself or Zac by PM or phone .
