hi Pete and Zak
my name is Maris and i am heading over on thursday. i look forward to meeting you and drinking all your beer you c$%^&ts (stop reminding me sails ive missed).

I have spoken to Fredo and he is keen to take ski to unsailed spot (Cranking LH pt break- u know it) offshore south of eyre peninsula to record Zak getting washed up on rocks and then eaten by pointers (as skipper i have to stay on boat) oh hang on, i mean shoot Zak testing new quad. Boat is fuelled up and ready to go, wind tides and swell look good for sat. hes also up for trip up coast friday. will do a recce on way over tomorrow.

Thats the beauty of XXXX Beer
You can leave it in the sun for two weeks and it still taste the same!!
Perfect to leave to roll around in your bus in between trips up the coast , then give to guys who fly in for the weekend and drink all their beer .
Who's coming with you next time, Maris ??

With the look of sheer terror on your face, I had to drop in and lead the way!!

Logistics were not right on Saturday for the Point brack.
But we did a recon fly over on Good Friday with Cactus Airways.
Will give it a go, when the wind , swell and logistic gods all aline together in the near future .

Hi Jason

i think ferry is restarting this year- have never been on it but by all reports breaks up the trip alot and is more relaxing than driving through.
re wind- seabreezes oct-march (janfeb best). "beasterly easterlies" needed for above spot common march-may. great to see you over west sometime
cheers mate

I would like to come over there within the next year and have a sail. Hopefully that ferry is up and running when I do come over, as that would be an awesome experience in itself. Never been to the west.

Nice Work Maris, some good shots there. Point break looks sick, obviously very big. Not hard to work out where it is as you have given it away with the photos. Pity though that I don't own a beautiful boat like you, a waverunner, a tow board or even a tow rope. Let alone the logistics and finances to pull it all together. Good luck when you get it on.

we are sailing it not towing, need some talent- no ones game; u want in? dont need finances just get yourself to lincoln
BTW its Fredo;s waverunner (ex billabongs), borrowing my mates boat; everyones helping out. your job will be to divert the pointers

Hey Maris, Im In if I can get there when its happening. Im wasn't going to mention where it is cause I didn't think you want it named. Mind you, I think its now been mentioned in the posts. Is this the spot where you took some of the pros surfers on your boat that time?

Nope- that was spilsby- crazy RH barrel, one of best in world by rep, but pit's a bit too deep&fast for windsurf ideally. is xshore in wnw, low headland so good wind tho. Scotty's onto it; its a big LH wall. Heaps of other spots with potential, mullalong, coffin bay peninsula, rincon, sceales bay

sad harness technology peaked 25 years ago. Pete's been trying to get me into a new harness for years- shed full of em; 2 categories, castraters and suffocaters (ie teabagnappies&waist-what happened to kalama chest style?) Jak Flecther's rebuilt it and has done me a new version but its green tho. "that w**k*r in the green harness" doesnt have quite the same ring eh elmo? so i'll keep old faithfull for a while.
Whens next sick version of apocalypse due out- great footage. i just got a 70X zoom HDCam for $300 from office works!!
