I had Seaford all to myself. (Friday)
Wasn't epic conditions, but was fun until it died out at about 5:30/6:00.
Mind you I was on my 99 litre boat and a 6.2... could have gone the 6.8 for about 70% of the time I was out though!
Sunday is looking good for The Funnel. Hopefully it'll hang in till around 6ish when I can get there after work.

Looked like you were planning the whole time - how lucky can you be susie - 17-20 knts and blasting on a 5.4 20 mins after you buy a new board - who you got working for you!

Must say I had a pleasant sail myself - a few bigger waves would,ve been nice though

Semaphore was the go last night, Has a great sail to seven thirty on 5.4 and a 80l evo. It was really quite fun. Hopefully an unexpected seabreeze`sunday will allow another sail for the week!

Heya Rus

I've got the arvo off (actually, I gave myself the arvo off ).

Will seacliff be too hardcore for a spring chicken like me ? (excuse the pun :)

20-25 knts - not much swell but ya need to be water starting and handle some basic jumps - can get a bit hectic trying to uphaul with swells thrown ya everywhere - there is only one way to find out couple of short runs - if you get in to trouble come in and put it down to experience - just watch the rocks on the inside - maybe North of semaphore may be a bit flatter - I'm not sure

I'll soft out I think (Seacliff). I'll pack the car and have a look at Semaphore. Water
starting is a long way off at the moment.

That was a rather hectic overpowered sail at seacliff - on the old 5.4 and 98l - harnes lines were wrong, boom was creaking- I was worried it was gonna break again, choppy as all hell out to sea - all round a weird sail - just one of those that didn't feel right

where is the action in the morning folks - very windy at seaford tonight - swell small -if it goes more sthly could be OK at U's or the reef

Kent reserve might be krankin tomorrow arvo - schoolies everywhere

I ended up going to the causeway I think it's called. Had a gusty time.. managed
to plane a few times (nappy blasting), but it was better than the sea. Before that, I went
to semaphore. A guy told me and another beginner that we would get creamed out
there with our experience level and kit. I took his advice... dunno about the other guy.

Do you reckon early start tomorrow Dave ? :)
