After discussions with some of the guys down south and the success of the learner day in the north we have decided to hold another Learner/Fun Day in the south on Saturday 2nd March

Anyone who has never tried windsurfing and not sure how to start come along and give it a crack.
The Learner boards belonging to the club are very easy to learn on and there will be experienced sailors there to help you get going.

The local retailers will be there on the day to give anyone advice on the best gear to purchase for your level of sailing

If you have any friends that would be interested let them know and pass the word around.

There will be a BBQ fired up so bring along a few snags and drinks

Kick off will be 1pm till 5pm at either Doran's Rd Lauderdale or Honeywood Drive Cremorne depending on the direction of the wind, keep a close watch on this forum, we will make a call on the location on the Friday night before the day.

This is a low key no fuss fun event and everyone is welcome

Everyone coming to honeywood drive on Saturday please drive very slowly (10km/hr) on the reserve.
The residents are getting very sensitive about the dust caused by all the traffic on the dirt track.
We are very lucky we've got such a great spot to sail and we don't ever want to see access closed to this site.
Most of the residents are happy to have us there but we must repect there space and privacy
Cheers Ant

Great day,
Thanks to everyone who helped and those who turned up.
There was up to 25 people on the water at times, Newbies and old !!!. It was brilliant to show some SUP and Kite mates what windsurfing has to offer.

I was going to the pond, with wife and child, ended up wine tasting our way to Richmond and back.
