Anyone out there who would like to give windsurfing a try or has a mate that would be keen to learn have an opportunity to borrow a Learner Board from Windsurfing Tas.

These learner boards are very stable, easy to learn on and with a little help we can get you started.

You can borrow a board for 1-2 weeks to get started then if you decide you would like to continue windsurfing we can guide you in purchasing new or second hand gear that would be suitable for your age and experience.

All you need to do is become a Social Member of Windsurfing Tas for $35. A donation for the use of the boards would also be greatly appreciated and will help go towards repairs and maintenance of the equipment.

Contact Ant Houston (0417 577884) or Damo Wallace (0409 854754) in the south of the state and Ben Wilson (0400 638795) in the north, or just register (free) and post on this forum.

A reminder as well, the Learn-To-Windsurf day in the north is listed to be on on the 16th of November. Always a good time and a great chance to see what you can do after a couple of months practice when the more experienced riders get out on the water. There will be plenty of old hands on deck to give you the help you need to get out there. If you've ever thought you want to try something new, come along and give it a go, but be warned, it IS addictive.

And when you bring your buddies to Learn-To-Windsurf Day and they're realising how windsurfing's the best , well ........
Just to make sure, bring them to the North Movie Night ......
