Solid 15-20 knot seabreeze, doesn't get much better than this. Instead of faffing around in that little pond you guys should get over here sometime for a session

You have a good point Luke (), I've been thinking of having a session there to get some decent GPS Mile readings.

Ok, but I'm going up north tomorrow for the weekend, then again later next week to work. The only way I'll ever get a good NM or 1 Hr is to do as few corners as possible.

I went down there Sunday but no wind so watched the King of the Derwent, there was a line down the river but it never got to the point would have been fun in amongst all the boats

Been there done that! Couldn't stop yawning for hours. After one run across and back I nearly fell asleep.
I'll take my faffing little pond with its clear blue water over that scary dark abyss anyday.
Glad to see you guys had a good sail

Luke when I'm back at work in 10 days I'll be sailing Sandy Bay, Kaleb I know what you mean about falling asleep on long runs, that's how I felt at Clifton yesterday. The Derwents dark because it's full of poo, heavy metals, fish guts, storm water, cigarette buds......what's wrong with that, good healthy pollution. I always make sure I close my mouth when I fall in!!

The Derwent (south of the Bridge) is cleaner than Doran's or Pipeclay lagoon ...., trust me ...
