Thanks guys, good to break the 45 knot barrier!! Sailing at Doran's is certainly good practice. Felt like there was more to be had if there had been a bit more wind!!

Well done Dave, good old Dorans, we always bag it but it's our little wind haven. Keep up with the blasting Dave, you'll be the fastest man on Earth! or maybe you already are

I'm going to guess and go off the GPS team challenge site and say Slowboat's 50.09 knts.
But I could be wrong!

Johno, you testing my computor skills, easy, even I can do that, 50knots, looks like Tassie has got a bit to go to knock that off. What is the world record?

Yep that sounds right. Kiters have gone much faster. Apparently theres this German guy who is about 40 and lives with his mum. He kites on flooded paddocks and regulary breaks 50 knots.

I'm sure the glow in the Northern horizon from here is the beaming smile that's still on Dave's face

Buzzy you dont know half of it
We realy need a Burkha (is that how you spell it) to put over Daves head just to calm down the glowplease send more spf 30 sunscreen, umbrellas etc and we might just survive
