I've always had trouble with a southerly which is not real good in Georges Bay but I was out for a paddle on the kayak the other day and found this spot. It is surrounded by farmland so no trees, there is no great big bank to block the wind and it is shallow. Looks like a great spot in a south to south-westerly breeze and a great spot to get some speed up. One other thing, no sharks.

Well Ant I've got a casual job at the local school at the moment and if it keeps up for a couple of months I'll give it some thought. If I get a GPS does that mean that I've got to start buying all the latest gear and worry if someone else is a bees d**k faster than me?[}:)]
