Many thanks to Sam for taking these photos at Lagoon Beach. I have cropped and tweaked some of them and added the Bond dialogue to the cat photo.

Pryde verses Gaastra, Bic verses Zot

This is fast but the Zot would be faster?

Rush hour traffic

In my mind all cats could be Goldfinger from the James Bond movies, always plotting world domination and always with very cool hideouts.

The beach is a harsh environment for delicate equiptment like digital cameras but I have been pretty lucky so far despite regularly emptying large quantities of fine sand out of the camera bag the Nikon still seems to function OK though I do need to remember to clean the lens a little more often.

I hope you get some good shots down at Stanley/Marrawah I found a couple of newish vids (2010) up on youtube which Al Mcleod has posted, very cool, hope you get some conditions like that.

Here are a couple more photos from Sam of some "anonymous" people throwing some spray.

I sailed with Alistair last season at Marrawah, he was well out of my league and since then he's been to Maui.
I dream of sailing the waves like a pro, sometimes I feel like a pro until I see a photo of me on a wave and reality sets in
But I guess it's the feel and the dream that's important

Its eighties design……not the greatest era in for that sort of stuff I guess, still respect could be gained by doing some crazy move with the retro gear, maybe a cheese roll or some extreme freestyle sliding move.

Realistically its mostly just fear that one day if you keep bringing that board to the beach I will have to actually take it for a sail and I know that's going to end badly for me, so its better for everyone if you put that board back on E-Bay where it belongs.

If you do decide to go the freestyle moves here is some hints from the folks who invented most of the new moves.

Very funny Al these dudes couldn't pull a trick after watching some rad freestyle ZOT MOVES! for the simple fact that their sides would be aching from laughing too much! HA
Must say I was slightly impressed and am working on one of those tricky jumpy skippy slidey thingys that they were struggling with!
