Looks like only a light SW forecast but I just want to get on the water so might dig out the Mistral equipe and go for a cruise. Looking at getting to Lagoon bay at about 10am

Sound excellent guys. I feel the same Paul!

I have a bombora longboard, but it doesn't have foot straps...but im keen.

Anyone know how to "install" foot straps on a board that doesn't have the screw holes?
I might not be there until a little later though...Hopefully by 11.

Cheers
Johnny

I have had success in the past installing nylon plugs glued in with polyester resin - bombora uses polyurethane foam for their cores so no need to use epoxy. Let me know if you need assistance

You guys have picked up on that I'm a computer geek right??

The first option for me was definitely the best - I think iv'e seen some of those in my roof - surely I don't need all those screws to hold the tin down ??

You sure can Paul, thats all we were missing...

So drill a thread with the petrol thingy there, make sure to use 2 stroke petrol as we do not want to be hard on our equipment....... put a galvanized coach bolt in it and cover with band aids to make it all safe and hopefully forget its in there......

Good luck

No epic speeds from the day however Low Head was surprisingly good on a SSE!, Had some great runs and done some exploring on the long boards with Paul.
We went as far up as Georgetown on 3 tacks then were able to do one long 5km run back to the lagoon... good fun

I love the way the long boards power through the chop.. more like driving a boat than a board
